Children's Ministries
The goal of children's programs at Main Street Baptist is to help to introduce children to Jesus Christ
our Savior, guide children as they develop a personal relationship with Christ, and have a joyful
time along the way. We provide the following programs to help reach this goal:
- A Children's Sermon each Sunday morning during Worship ,
followed by Children's Church for children through grade 4.
- Sunday School classes for all ages.
- King's Kids on Sunday evenings at 6:30p.m. This is a program of Bible stories, crafts and
fun for children, pre-school through grade 6, and usually includes a light meal.
- VIP - Very Important Puppets, for older elementary. VIP is a chance to be part of a group
which performs and ministers to others.
- AWANA Bible Clubs on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30p.m.
during the school year. We have clubs for kindergarten through 6th grade. AWANA is an
exciting program focusing on fun and Scripture knowledge.

- Service Opportunities, such as writing to and visiting shut-ins, participating in worship,
writing missionaries, collecting coins to support our mission work, and many other such
activities.
