Sunday School

Main Street Baptist Church of Point Pleasant, WV

At Main Street Baptist we have Sunday School at 9:30am each Sunday, with classes for all ages.

A nursery for infants is provided at each Worship Service, as well as during Sunday School and Wednesday evening activities.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes are taught as an extended session beginning at 9:30 and continuing during Morning Worship. Crafts, singing, and games supplement the Bible Lesson for these ages.

Primary school classes include a Primary class for Grades 1-3; and a Junior class for grades 4-6. Each is taught by experienced teachers who love the Lord.

Youth in Junior High School (grades 7-8) and youth in Senior High (grades 9-12) are taught in youth classes, where opportunities are provided to develop relationships with other youth across the teen years.

Adults have the choice of three classes:

Bethel Class - a class composed primarily of younger and middle-aged adults, both single and married. This class combines teacher-centered and discussion oriented methods of studying God's Word.
Seekers Class - This is a co-educational class composed primarily of middle-aged and older adults.
Harvesters Class - This class consists primarily of older adults and combines discussion and teacher-centered methods of instruction.

Visitors are always welcome to any of these classes.
