saving knowledge
of our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to let them know that we are all sinners and come short
of the glory of God(Romans 3:23). Through the Scriptures teenagers will learn how they may
have the power to overcome sin and have eternal life (Romans 6:23).
Our desire is to show teens that life with Jesus Christ is the most exciting experience offered to
humanity.
Our youth program includes the following ministries to help us reach our goal of helping teens
know Christ and grow in discipleship:
- Sunday School. Our teen classes include Junior
High (grades 7-8) and Senior High (grades 9-12), each taught by an experienced teacher who
loves teens and loves the Lord.
- Youth Bible Study, which meets Sunday evenings at 6:00p.m. Led by Richard Tench
and lay volunteers, Youth Bible Study includes times of fellowship, 'hanging out', and study
of God's Word together.
- Youth Fellowship meets Wednesday evenings at 6:00p.m. for recreation, devotions, and great
fellowship.
- Participating in Worship, through occasional music, reading scripture, leading Youth
Sunday services, and other ways.
- Retreats and Lock-ins.
- Junior and Senior High Conferences.
- Vacation Bible School. Junior Highers have the opportunity to participate in learning;
Senior Highers have the opportunity to help lead children's activities.
- Mission Projects.
- Fun and Fellowship Activities, such as skating, bowling, canoeing, hay rides, swimming,
etc.
